After quite a long time, in 2020 I finally made it to record two new original compositions.

At first I was thinking of forming a “classic” trio with guitar, bass and drum. But in the end instead of the bass I found a bassoon, thank to my friend Michele Gadioli that joined me and Mattia Piani (drum) in this new adventure.

This strange formation had then opened new possibilities, both for the timbre and arrangement.

The recording of two pieces Claude Sur La Table and Forma Astratta n.2 at 1911 Analog Recording Studio in Paularo (UD) represented a first testing bench to fix on (actual) tape the work done since that moment.

We are already working on other tunes that we hope to record as soon as possible in a full album.
